CBD is the abbreviation for cannabidiol, one of the many ingredients in the hemp plant Cannabis sativa. In contrast to the hemp component THC (=tetrahydrocannabinol), CBD has no intoxicating (psychoactive) effects. CBD is unique because of its interaction in the organism.The process of extracting the ingredient CBD from the hemp plant with the help of chemicals is customary in trade. The extracted CBD was then marketed as animal feed. However, this type of production is not permitted for animal feed. Due to the lack of marketability, many CBD products have meanwhile been taken from the market. cdVet therefore did not have any CBD products in its range so far. cdVet CBD Oil is not an extract obtained with chemical additives, but a legally compliant, purely natural, cold-pressed CBD oil with a high CBD content. Thus the CBD Oil from cdVet is marketable as a complementary feed for animals and can be fed without hesitation to animals that do not have an MDR1 gene defect.The special cdVet cold pressing process ensures concentrated, purely naturally obtained CBD oils, which also contain the full spectrum of plant substances, consisting of terpenes, flavonoids, phenols, omega-3 and -6 fatty acids, minerals, and vitamin E. RepellentDrops for repelling ear mitesMitesEx Ear Cleaner contains the active ingredient from the leaves of lemon eucalyptus. It is used to repel ear mites and to clean and care for irritated and sensitive external auditory canals in dogs, cats, and other pets.Ear mites are an unpleasant problem for our pets. The mites like to nest in the external auditory canal and the inner auricle. An infestation can be recognized by the often intense itching. The animals often shake their heads and may even scratch themselves bloody. Furthermore, large amounts of reddish-brown to black earwax are produced. If the mites are not expelled in time, secondary bacterial infections may occur. MitesEx Ear Cleaner repels these pests and gently and thoroughly frees the ears from mites.Expert tip: Due to dirt particles flying out, cleaning should be done outdoors or in a tiled room.Active substance: Eucalyptus citriodora oil hydrated, cyclized (EC Oil (H/C)) 100 g/L, BAuA Reg.-No.: N-84837. The active ingredient contained in the spray, made from the leaves of lemon eucalyptus, adheres to the skin and hair of the treated animal. The ticks are deterred from biting by the smell.
