Shiny and strong coat for your cat

Proper nutrition is the basic building block for healthy skin, also for a shiny coat. To support coat change and grooming throughout the year, a balanced ratio of trace elements, nutrients and vitamins is important.

If it is necessary to wash or bathe a cat, care should be taken to use shampoo designed specifically for cats. The pH value of the skin plays an important role here and this can become unbalanced by using unsuitable shampoo.

If the cat is long-haired, it should ideally be brushed once or twice a week. This is not necessary for short-haired cats, but many animals still enjoy the extra attention.

Healthy cat fur has a silky shine and feels soft and smooth. Depending on the breed, it lies close to the body and does not stick out wildly in all directions. In addition, healthy cat fur is characterized by a thick coat of hair without bald patches and smooth skin without bumps or scabby patches.

Salmon oil, evening primrose oil and wheat germ oil are particularly suitable for cats to provide them with essential fatty acids and for a shiny coat.

Cats take care of the cleanliness and care of their fur themselves. If you do have to intervene, a damp washcloth and, if necessary, a brush for any sticky spots are enough.
