Furthermore, vitamin C is of great importance for collagen biosynthesis and thus for the strength of bones and cartilage. The glycosaminoglycans provided by the green-lipped mussel are a natural component of the synovia (synovial fluid) and thus provide important building blocks for naturally balanced growth. With the other ingredients, the whole is supplemented with almost 70% digestible protein, a high variety of vitamins, trace elements, minerals and amino acids that can create good conditions for young animals in growth.

Fibers are a component of plant foods and increases the volume of food without significantly increasing the energy content at the same time. Their high swelling capacity binds liquid in the stomach and creates a feeling of satiety. Fibers prolong the time spent in the stomach. When passing into the intestine, the high-fiber food pulp stimulates peristalsis due to its volume. The fibers contained in Fit-BARF Repletion Mix are used by the intestinal bacteria of the large intestine mucosa as nutrition for their mucosal cells and provide a positive intestinal flora.
