CBD is the abbreviation for cannabidiol, one of the many ingredients in the hemp plant Cannabis sativa. In contrast to the hemp component THC (=tetrahydrocannabinol), CBD has no intoxicating (psychoactive) effects. The process of extracting the ingredient CBD from the hemp plant with the help of chemicals is customary in trade. The extracted CBD was then marketed as animal feed. However, this type of production is not permitted for animal feed. Due to the lack of marketability, many CBD products have been taken from the market in the meantime. cdVet therefore did not have any CBD products in its range so far. CBD Powder is not one obtained with chemical additives, but a legally compliant, purely natural, cold-pressed, CBD-containing, and ground expeller.
