Spezialprodukt (Pulver) – TrockenhilfsstoffKieselgur besteht aus den vermahlenen Skeletten fossiler Kieselalgen, den sogenannten `Diatomeen´. Diese Skelette bestehen aus Siliziumoxid. Der Einsatz von Kieselgur als natürlicher Rohstoff gewinnt immer mehr an Bedeutung. Seine absorptive Fähigkeit wird überall dort eingesetzt, wo Flüssigkeit oder Feuchtigkeit gebunden werden muss.Kieselgur ist auch für die Verwendung in Futtermitteln gemäß EU-Verordnung für alle Tierarten zugelassen. Somit besteht höchste Sicherheit im Zusammenhang mit der Anwendung in der direkten Nähe von Tiernahrung.Kieselgur kann nicht überdosiert werden. Die Menge der Ausbringung auf den Bedarfsflächen hängt von der Materialbeschaffenheit ab.
