Salt lick stone made from natural sea salt, rich in electrolytes

It is hardly possible to cover the vital salt requirement through the normal feeding, because grass, hay, and grain contain practically no salt. Higher temperatures, moving or even sweating provide a considerable additional requirement.

Salts control fluid balance, are essential for neural, enzymatic and metabolic systems and regulate acid-base balance. Deficiencies can lead to weakness, listlessness, muscle atrophy, and even severe digestive disorders. Therefore, a salt lick stone should be available for all grazing animals.

Our cdVet Lick Stone Sea Salt Vitalis offers your pet a high-quality, natural salt source made from sea salt for individual self-supply. In contrast to the usual salt, sea salt still contains a number of minerals and trace elements, which are hardly found in `common household´ table salt, in a ratio balanced by nature.

The sea salt for our lick stones is exclusively gained within the EU and is subject to strict quality control. The production follows the high European environmental and social standards.
