Die Akzeptanz bei den Hunden von Tees ist meist hervorragend. Sowohl pur wie auch als Futterzusatz werden sie gerne aufgenommen. Durch die Teezubereitung werden die Inhaltsstoffe hoch verfügbar. Kräutertees sollten für zwei bis vier Wochen gegeben werden. Die Teemenge hängt von der Größe des Hundes ab, ca. 250 ml am Tag bei einem mittelgroßen Hund ist eine ungefähre Richtlinie. Bei kleineren Hunden wird die Menge halbiert, geviertelt oder sogar geachtelt. Bei Großen Hunderassen wie z.B. Neufundländer, Berner Sennenhund oder Deutsche Dogge kann sogar bis zur doppelten Menge gefüttert werden. Den Tee können Sie unverdünnt neben dem Trinkwasser anbieten oder über das Futter geben. Der Tee hält im Kühlschrank ein bis zwei Tage.
