Lick Stone Wild Herbs 3 kg
Mineral complementary feed for horses, cattle, alpacas, camels, sheep, goats, and game animalsSea salt lickstone with bitter and tanninsThe regular intake of bitter and tannic substances is often greatly underestimated in animal nutrition. Wild species instinctively ingest them to effectively support their intestinal flora (intestinal microbiome) and, thus, their immune system. The bile flow stimulated by bitter substances is essential for the proper absorption of nutrients, as the intestinal milieu is shifted into the alkaline range, and only in this way can the enzymatic breakdown and utilization of food succeed optimally.Bitter substances are also of particular importance with regard to uninvited intestinal inhabitants, however, as they strengthen the body's own defenses against parasites in the animal's intestine and can provide a temporary, worm-hostile intestinal environment. In addition, tannins support the protective layer in the intestine and also impede the adhesion and penetration of toxic irritants. But also metabolism-sensitive animals benefit from a well-established intestinal flora. Bitter substances keep digestion going and support liver function.Expert tip: If you should notice that the cdVet Lick Stone Wild Herbs is licked excessively, this may indicate an increased need for bitter and tannic substances. In those cases, we recommend that you cover the need with EquiGreen WK-Mix and privet WK-Mix, respectively.Composition: sea salt, pumpkin seeds, walnut leaves, male fern herb, sweet wormwood herb, dandelion root, wild garlic herb, corianderAnalytical constituents: sodium 38,0%, calcium 0.2%, magnesium 0.15%, phosphorus 0.15%

priVet WK-Mix 75 g
Complementary feed (powder) for ruminants, donkeys, pigs and poultryWild herbs for an intestinal ambience hostile to wormspriVet WK-Mix has been developed for the special nutritional needs that arise in connection with colonization by worms. The lack of herbal ingredients, such as saponins, bitter substances, and tannins, can make our pets susceptible to excessive colonization by worms. In contrast to their conspecifics living in the wilderness, they often do not have the opportunity to absorb those substances through plants and herbs. However with their wild relatives, precisely these substances lead to avoid an excessive, pathological colonization by worms. In order to have less often a reason for chemical deworming cures, the animal's intestine should therefore be supported with appropriate herbs that are contained in priVet WK-Mix. Besides of a balanced diet, you can achieve this by the occasional addition of the complementary feed priVet WK-Mix, which can compensate for the lack of herbal ingredients, such as saponins, bitter substances and tannins. In addition, many specialists for parasitology recommend checking the colonization by worms of the animal by regularly monitoring the faeces samples.Expert tip: If the indicated feeding recommendation is not possible due to husbandry reasons, an alternative feeding with a higher quantity may be used:Cattle/pigs/goats/sheep/alpacas/fallow deer: 2 g/50 kg body weight on 3 consecutive days - 10 days break - 2 g/50 kg body weight on 3 consecutive days.Donkeys: 2 g/100 kg body weight on 3 consecutive days - 10 days break - 2 g/100 kg body weight on 3 consecutive days.Feeding should be repeated every 3 months.Composition: pumpkin seeds, carrot pomace, walnut leaves, coconut grated, ash bark, rose hip fruit, coriander fruit, wild garlic herb, southernwood herb, dandelion root, thyme leaves, dandelion herb, lemon balm leaves, wormwood herbAdditives/kg: Flavouring compounds: oregano oil 4.5 g.Analytical constituents: crude protein 15.8%, crude fat 10.2%, crude fiber 16.9%, crude ash 9.0%, calcium 1.01%, phosphorus 0.42%, sodium 0.13%Feeding recommendation: Add daily to the feed.
