Product information "ProBreeder Milk To Go 90 g"
Milk replacer complementary feed (powder) for dogs
Replacement milk for puppies for hand rearing, tube feeding, or supplementary feeding
The worst-case scenario for breeders - the newborn puppies cannot be fed by their mother. Be it temporarily (e.g. after a caesarean section, delayed milk supply or inflamed teats) or permanently (due to the death of the bitch or lack of acceptance by the bitch).
In these cases, it is rare to find a suitable foster bitch in a timely manner. A replacement milk is then needed which, in addition to the important ingredients of any mother's milk, also contains colostrum, which is vital in the first 24 hours to build up the puppies' immune defenses. ProBreeder Milk To Go is therefore also particularly suitable for weak puppies without a sucking reflex or puppies with cleft palates, both of which have to be fed by stomach tube during the critical first 3 weeks.
Expert tip: Even a mother dog that has been weakened by giving birth can benefit from replacing her drinking water with ProBreeder Milk To Go. Many bitches are fussy after giving birth anyway, and the replacement milk is readily drunk. High fluid intake ensures a good milk yield, and giving ProBreeder Milk To Go supports the mother's calcium balance, especially in large litters, and can thus prevent eclampsia in bitches. It is therefore always worth having ProBreeder Milk To Go in stock before the birth, even if we have the hoped-for smooth birth process with healthy puppies and a happy mother dog.
Composition: whole-milk powder, colostrum powder, whey protein concentrate, sodium chloride, locust bean meal
Analytical constituents: crude protein 28.9%, crude fat 21.4%, crude fiber 0.0%, ash 6.1%, calcium 0,57%, phosphor 0,60%, sodium 0,35%, lysine 1,70%, methionine 0,75%
Feeding recommendation: Mix 1 part replacement milk with 3 parts hot, no longer boiling water until lump-free and allow to cool to feeding temperature. Feeding quantity: approx. 15-25 ml/100 g puppy weight per day.
Feeding with a suitable boiled bottle and teat, for small dogs possibly with a luer syringe and suitable, attachable silicon teat. The feeding quantity may vary depending on the breed and nutritional status of the puppy. The puppy's belly should have a pear shape after feeding. The drinking amount can be determined by weighing the puppy before and after feeding.
