Organic Borage oil contains essential fatty acids - especially gamma-linolenic acid - which are important for the body as a food building block for the defense force, allergies and skin and coat problems.

Borage is a herb, which was originally native to the Mediterranean. Since the late Middle Ages, it is also cultivated in Central Europe. The name borage is derived from the cucumber flavor of the leaves.

The oil of the seed contains a significant amount of unsaturated fatty acids, particularly gamma-linolenic acid. This has a great influence on the natural hormone balance, metabolism and skin metabolism.
