Die Wirksamkeit von herkömmlichen Streusalzen versagt in der Regel bei -7°C. casaCare Eisfrei beseitigt Schnee und Eis bis zu einer Temperatur von –45 °C schnell und sicher. Bei normaler Eisbildung ohne erneuten Schneefall hält die Tauwirkung bis zu 3 Tagen. Das macht casaCare Eisfrei besonders ergiebig in der Anwendung. Durch seine gute Haftung stellt die Beseitigung von Eis und Schnee selbst auf Rampen mit einer Neigung bis zu 45° kein Problem dar. Durch seine leicht basische Einstellung wird der Rostbildung an Metallen und dem „Sauren Regen“ im Erdreich entgegengewirkt. Eine Negativwirkung auf Beton konnte bei einer ordnungsgemäß verlegten Stahlbewehrung (mind. 2 cm tief im Beton) nicht festgestellt werden. Durch die vollständige Wasserlöslichkeit verursacht es keine Verstopfung in Kanaldeckeln, Kanalisation oder Kläranlagen. casaCare Eisfrei enthält keine Harnstoffe und ist laut Gutachten der Universität Bielefeld für das Pflanzenwachstum verträglicher als konventionelle Streumittel.
