How does a horse with circulatory problems behave?

A horse with circulatory problems may manifest itself through increased respiratory rate, increased pulse, excessive sweating, unsteadiness when standing or walking and pale mucous membranes. In advanced cases, signs of exhaustion, staggering or collapse could occur. A careful observer should recognize these behavioral changes and take immediate measures such as cooling and hydration to support the horse's well-being.
