How do I know if a horse has eye problems?

Signs that a horse may have eye problems include increased blinking, frequent rubbing of the eyes, increased tearing or noticeable redness of the conjunctiva. Furthermore, sensitivity to light and increased closing of the eyes can indicate possible problems. Changes in behavior, such as rubbing the head or turning away from light, are also signs that could indicate eye problems.
