Creates a worm-hostile intestinal environment

cdVet's products have been developed for the specific nutritional needs associated with worm stocking. With the right diet, you can support the intestinal environment of your cats to such an extent that a worm-hostile environment arises. The wild herbs that cdVet uses in its products are carefully selected.

You can only fight the worms that are in the body at the time of deworming. A prophylactic worming treatment is therefore never effective. In general, deworming is complete after about 10-14 days.

Most worms always need a development step outside the body in order to spread and therefore do not pose a direct risk of transmission by the cat. However, there are also parasites that can be transmitted directly by the animal. Here, you should follow a few basic hygiene rules to keep the risk low.

If the infestation is minor and the immune system is functioning, nothing usually happens. The body keeps the invader at bay. But if the immune system is weakened and the pressure from the worms is too high, they take important nutrients from the body's food and the animals become thinner and thinner despite eating well.

A small infestation is usually not noticed at all. With a severe infestation, the animals often lose weight, even though they seem to be consuming endless amounts of food. The fur is also often shaggy and dull. Depending on the severity of the infestation, parts of the worms may also be visible in the feces.
