Purest flea circus

It itches, it scratches and jumps: fleas. Here you will find a selection of products to keep fleas away in a natural way. In order to protect the dog from the annoying pests, cdVet offers various products for external use, but there are also possibilities as an addition to the food.

With natural parasite repellent products, touching the area that has been sprayed with it is not a problem. Do not pet the animal directly where it is wet, but you can still pet the rest of the cat without any problem.

The quickest way for a dog to become infected with fleas is through contact with other dogs. But flea infestations can also occur in the home environment. If there was already a flea infestation in the house, the eggs can survive for a long time in cracks and textiles until a suitable host is nearby.

Use flea and tick protection regularly, clean your dog's environment, avoid contact with infected animals and check your dog regularly for fleas.

In addition to treating the dog with fleas (e.g. FlohEx Spray, FlohEx SpotOn, insektoVet Shampoo), the environment should also be treated, as fleas mainly live in textiles and are only on the animal for a blood meal. To do this, you should vacuum daily (then dispose of the vacuum cleaner bag), wash the textiles as hot as possible and sprinkle diatomaceous earth around.

A typical sign of fleas, in addition to itching, is flea droppings in the fur. If this is combed out and placed on a tissue, the crumbs turn reddish when they come into contact with water.
