In contrast to spirulina, chlorella is actually an algae and has cell walls made of cellulose. It owes its name to the unusually high proportion of natural chlorophyll, which can support the cells with oxygen and also has a high degree of odor-absorbing potential. Chlorophyll can therefore have a positive effect on unpleasant body and mouth odors. Due to its composition, chlorella algae acts as a natural toxin binder and binds substances that burden the body in order to remove them from the body later. In addition to vitamins, it contains around 19 different amino acids and unsaturated essential fatty acids.
