As a rider, I am responsible for training numerous horses every day. I have been training a brown mare with outstanding jumping skills for over a year now.
Unfortunately, this mare was often very difficult to ride due to her extremely strong estrus behavior. She was not only bitchy on the leg, but also very stubborn. She often refused the driving aids and walked backwards. At tournaments, she was never able to use her existing performance potential even remotely, although I tried to help the mare in various ways.
I started with Regumate (which only worked to a limited extent and is also very expensive in the long run). I pulled out all the stops, right up to Murmel in the uterus. Unfortunately, none of this was a lasting success. The owner was already considering having the mare inseminated because, despite her outstanding jumping skills, she was simply not performing well at tournaments.
At this point I heard about RosseRegulat from cdVet. A colleague had given me very positive feedback about this new product and it was, in a way, the last attempt.
After just 14 days of feeding her, I had the impression that the mare relaxed more quickly, I needed a much shorter relaxation phase and her general satisfaction improved significantly. I watched her behavior critically over the next few weeks because, after the countless setbacks, I was naturally not particularly optimistic. I was all the more astonished to see that she had completely lost her old bitchiness even during the acute estrus phase. Since then, riding the mare has been a pleasure. In addition, it naturally gives you a much better feeling when you have the feeling that you are bringing a relaxed, contented horse into the box after riding.
I was looking forward to the next tournament and it proved me right. The mare was finally able to show her full potential. Victory in the M jumping!
I hope it continues like this. I can only warmly recommend the EquiGreen RosseRegulat from cdVet to all riders who are struggling with these problems with their mares. Another particularly positive thing about this supplementary feed is that it has a waiting period of just two days according to the ADMR catalog. Since I fed the RosseRegulat with the appropriate lead time and then started again immediately after the tournament, this short interruption in feeding did not result in any further change in behavior.
