Pregnant cats need extra attention. Especially in the last third of the pregnancy and when the kittens are being suckled, the amount of food for the mother should be increased, as milk production requires a lot of energy. Otherwise, one or two expectant mothers would like an extra portion of attention and become particularly affectionate, while the others withdraw and need peace. Do not pressure your cat here and accept this need.
